Side shelves provide the ideal space for captured pieces and a chess timer during play. For a minimalist look, easily detach them and place inside the table. A lever raises the playing board any time you wish, revealing more inside storage for pieces, timer, and the like.
Best of all it’s hand made and finished to high quality standards here in the USA. Solid block construction means there are no veneers. It’s walnut and maple throughout.
